 The Revered was formed in early 2003 in Newport Beach, California. Three sophomores who rock out live. Austin Highley, age 16, Jake Rangell, age 15 and Dan Mulroy, age 16.
The Revered enjoys writing and performing their original music. They have shared the stage with signed acts such as: Slick Shoes, A Small Victory, Still Life Projector, Ten Foot Pole, Last Amanda and Cartel. The Revered has played with great local bands too such as: National Product, Victory Within, ASNIGHTFALLS and Stellar. They have also had their music played at The Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim during the 2003 - 2004 Mighty Ducks Hockey Season.
They released their demo in 2003 with six tracks. Their second CD, recorded in 2004, "A Fire Burns Below", was released in late June. Their CD was put in Tower Records in Tustin, Ca. and quickly became one of the Employee Pics of The Month!
The Revered are currently working on new material for their next CD that will be out Summer 2005... look for it! Also look out for our song, "Distant", to be on the Warped Tour 2005 "Sounds of Summer" Compilation CD being released by Blood Loss Alliance, featuring Bleeding Through, Finch, Darkest Hour, Armor For Sleep, Saosin, Strung Out, Bleed the Dream, Fear Before the March of Flames, and others. It will be released June 2005, and we will have copies for sale so make sure you get yours when they come out!! Also, in the July/August 2005 issue of Highwire Daze, we are going to be on the cover of Highwire Daze Magazine as the Local Band Spotlight, so make sure to get your copy!
