Eugene Makovoz (born in 1978) started performing in clubs around London in the middle of 1998. As a solo performer and as a keyboardist together with The Rainbyrds (the band found by Audley Genus) he played in such venues as Rock Garden, 12-Bar Club, Acoustic Café, Dublin Castle, Hope and Anchor, Lil Backyard Club, London Venue, and Windmill. On 9th December 2000 Eugene played in special John Lennon tribute program and performed I Saw Her Standing There and Imagine on BBC. Also he appeared in two TV performances of The Rainbyrds, which they made for Channel 4 and BBC 3 in 2000 and 2001. During 2001, Eugene, Audley Genus, Sara Hughes (The Rainbyrds drummer), and a producer Stefan Joseph Bohrer (ex-The Gents) known for his collaboration with Paul Weller (ex-The Jam) and David Vanian (ex-The Damned) recorded several Eugenes songs that can be downloaded here.
