 Whenever the industry starts to sell its soul, an underground movement of music that doesnt suck and isnt a part of the formula starts to gain attention and music lovers everywhere are saved for a time. People just want music they can believe in again; music that truly touches them. Were all waiting for it, that honesty, that I dont care about the image, I play what I feel attitude. There are the few that get through and More Than One is one of those exceptions. The soulful delivery of their perceptions on the world, and their experiences, culminate into lyrical labyrinths that lead to a truth that we all feel and know. More Than One just finds a clever way to say it. The Indie title does not belong to them though. They have been around the block and know that marketability is necessary for survival and this is apparent in the singles Never Let You Fall, Caf, and My Place In The World in which classic love song lyrics are fused with a modern lift and a seasoned structured. As self taught musicians, the members of More Than One seem to have taken to their profession with cautious discipline as one of the members was accepted to Murray State University as a piano major even though he only played for two years at the time, and the other has proven his talent by being asked to perform on two television shows. Besides writing and singing their own lyrics, they each play the bass, are veteran drummers but mostly drives their songs into our hearts with their flattops named Catherine and Betty Lou. A wild passion has driven More Than One to succeed not only in their hometown, but receive a welcomed response, no matter what city they happen to sing in. But the greatest gift they bless us with, is the honesty that they devote to their craft which satisfies our hunger for that feel-good energy. More Than One definitely feels more at home on stage but can deliver the goods in the studio. More Than One is nothing more than a couple of honest musicians loyal to their higher power----music! [More Than One , and its members, have played with the Pink spiders, The Misfits, Drop Shadow, Never The Less, World Premier, Staul, Century Century, and Dysfunction.
